11 December, 2022

(Dodger Stadium) 5,000 attended the AutismSpeaks Los Angeles Walk this weekend, Saturday December 10. The event ran from 8 AM to 1 PM and was packed with family-friendly resources and fun for the autism community. Austin Varco, racecar driver from Southern California, spoke at the opening ceremony along with David Isaacman, Star of Love on the Spectrum, and singer/songwriter Qwynn.

Varco hosted an abbreviated version of his program ‘Race for Autism’ which was posted at the finish line of the Walk. The ‘Race for Autism’ program is intended to provide autistic individuals a chance to see racecars up-close in a sensory-friendly environment, fundraise for racetracks’ local autism charities, and allow autistic individuals to meet a real-life racecar
